Laser U21 Worlds - Day 2 in Poland

 
Long day in Gdynia, Poland, as racing stretches into evening

Britain's Dan Whiteley dropped out of contention with a 38 and a DNC on day 2 of the Laser U21 Worlds in Gdynia, Poland, finishing the day in 26th after leading on the opening day.

Philipp Loewe of Germany (2,1) moves into the lead of the men's Laser, with second Jonatan Vadnai (15,1) of Hungary and in third place Max Wilken (2,30) of Germany.

In the women's Radial event, Australia's Zoe Thompson (2,1) takes a two point lead from Anna Munch (3,2) of Denmark, with third Italy's Carolina Albano (14,5).

Overnight leader Mara Stransky of Australia, who had led with back to back race wins on the opeing day, drops to sixth after a 42, 9 score Wednesday.

Britain's Daisy Collingridge (11,63) is in 14th place.
