GC32 Lagos Cup - Cammas rolls on

 
NORAUTO with skipper Franck Cammas, leads the GC32 Lagos Cup

America’s Cup skipper Franck Cammas takes an immediate two point lead on day 1 of the GC32 Lagos Cup, second event of the 2018 GC32 Racing Tour.

Cammas won the opening race, then it was the turn of another America’s Cup skipper, Ben Ainslie on INEOS TEAM UK, to take victory in race 2.

Cammas was second behind Ainslie and then won race 3 ahead of Erik Maris' Zoulou.

In the next race Maris reversed the score, wining race 4 ahead of Cammas, with Jérôme Clerc bringing Realteam home in third place.

In the final race of the day, Jason Carroll on Argo took the race win ahead of Erik Maris' Zoulou, with Cammas in third place to clinch the overall lead.

Código Rojo Racing of Federico Ferioli capsized in race 3, taking no further part in the day's racing. All the crew are safe.
