Tornado World Championship - Final Day

Iordanis Paschalidis and Petros Konstantinidis are the Open Tornado Champions for the second consecutive year

Just one race was possible on the final day of the Tornado World Championship at La Grande Motte, won by Paschalidis and Konstantinidis of Greece to confirm their overall victory.

Paschalidis is now the Tornado World Champion for the 8th time in a row (previosly sailing with Konstantinos Trigonis).

Second were Burvill and Puttman of Australia.

Third were Germany's Estela Jentsch (16yrs) and Daniel Brown (18yrs) who were also the Mixed Tornado Champions.

Fourth were Trecul and Ferrand of France, with fifth the D and S Salzmann of Austria.

The 2019 World Championship is to be organized in New Zealand in January 2019.
