Marseille World Cup - Day 6 Medal Results

Final day of the Marseille World Cup Finals - Gold for GBR in the women's 470 and Bronze in the Laser

First medal race was the men's Laser which went to Philipp Buhl of France, taking the gold on the finish line ahead of Norway's Hermann Tomasgaard.

Britain's Elliot Hanson won the medal race and grabbed bronze.

Nick Thompson, who started in third place finished down in seventh and fourth overall. Michael Beckett finished eighth and Lorenzo Brando Chiavarini tenth overall.

In the women's Radial Emma Plasschaert BEL, took the gold after a tense medal race, with silver going to Mária Érdi HUN with bronze for Tuula Tenkanen FIN.

Britain's Georgina Povall finished ninth overall.

The women's 470 medal race . . . two starts abandoned . . . leaving results as they were - Gold for Britain's Hannah Mills and Eilidh McIntyre, silver to Silvia Mas Depares and Patricia Cantero of Spain and bronze to Elena Berta and Bianca Caruso ITA.

Amy Seabright and Anna Carpenter finish eighth.

Jorge Zarif of Brazil confirmed gold with a win in the Finn medal race. Silver went to Josh Junior NZL with bronze to Andy Maloney NZL.

Mathew Belcher and William Ryan of Australia took gold in the men's 470, Jordi Xammar and Nicolás Rodríguez ESP the silver, with medal race winner Keiju Okada and Jumpei Hokazono JPN the bronze.

Great Britain was awarded the Nations Trophy for best overall performance.
