The flagship multiclass RS Class Association event of 2021 . . . Salombe Gin RS Summer Regatta hosted at the Royal Torbay yacht Club.
This event incorporated the Noble Marine RS500 National Championships, the Rooster RS400 Southern Championships and an event on the Rooster National Tour for all RS classes over the weekend of the 26 and 27 June.
Although conditions were light and tricky on day 1, there was a buzz in the bay as everyone relished being back out on the water and racing!
When the wind did arrive on Day 2, racing was abandoned due to a big south-easterly and a huge sea state.
But in true RS style, some sailors popped on some neoprene anyway, rigged up and went for a play in the bay!
